DRILL PIPE

Perforator Tam Pars provides the industry whit the three most important considerations for drill pipe:

Quality, Technology and Economy.

Perforator Tam Pars drill pipe body is provided from manufacturing plants with modern equipment.

Tube ends are forged on modern upsetters featuring programmable heating systems, which optimize forging efficiency.

Perforator Tam Pars`s forge line efficiently produces tool joints while reducing risk to employees. Forged tool joints are precision contoured on modern machining centers, then batch heat-treated by a controlled atmosphere quench-and-temper process. API or some proprietary rotary-shouldered connections are treaded onto the tool joint Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machine tools.

Perforator Tam Pars Drill pipe assemblies are produced by welding pin and box tool joints to an upset and heat-treated drill pipe tube. Material and process traceability are maintained for each of the three components.

PWHT is a post-weld quenched and tempered heat treatment of the heat-atfected zone.
Ultrasonic inspections ensure that weld inclusions and defects are not present. Completed drill pipe assemblies undergo an intense inspection process including a magnetic particle end area inspection for longitudinal and transverse defects and minimum wall thickness verification.

Internal Coating (Optional)

Internal plastic coatings (IPCs) consistently sets the industry standard for corrosion and wear prevention, improving hydraulic efficiency and deposit mitigation. When specified in the purchase agreement, Drill pipe shall be internally coated over the full length, except the thread. The type of coating shall be specified in the purchase agreement.

Hardbanding (Optional)

To help Drill pipes from excessive wear during running, hardbanding can be applied on the tool joint box section, box taper or tool joint pin section.
